She been enjoying life in Haarlem for the past 5 years. When her husband was given a dream job opportunity in the Netherlands, they sold everything, including her previous chiropractic business in Denver, and embarked on their biggest adventure yet.

She holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master’s degree in Sports Science & Rehabilitation from Logan College of Chiropractic.  In addition, she holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Integrative Physiology from University of Colorado-Boulder and in Life Sciences from Logan College of Chiropractic University.

She has received 2 prestigious awards from the Colorado Chiropractic association. The 2017 Sports Chiropractor of the Year Award is given for making notable impact in the field of sports, exemplifying high professional standards, and maintaining community involvement in the state of Colorado.  The 2014 Rising Star Chiropractor of the Year Award is given to a chiropractor within 10 years of practice who has contributed the most time and talent to the Colorado Chiropractic Association and the chiropractic profession. In addition, she has been awarded as a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors (F.I.C.C).  She served two terms with pride as the President of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council from 2017 to 2018, before her move abroad.

In February 2015, she had the incredible opportunity to be selected for a two-week Sports Medicine rotation at the prestigious US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. During this immersive experience, she had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including athletic trainers, physical therapists, massage therapists, and acupuncturists, to address various medical cases.  She had the pleasure of working with Olympic athletes in a variety of sports, including swimming, triathlon, weightlifting, pentathlon, shooting, figure skating, gymnastics, and wrestling.  Due to privacy regulations, there are no photos of the treatments on the athletes but only of the facilities during her time there. After having three kids in three years, she learned that being a mom is the toughest sport out there, and her focus shifted towards prenatal and postpartum care. In addition to the certifications mentioned below, she has also completed numerous courses in women’s health and considerations for fitness.

She has participated in the Chicago Marathon in 2008 and the Miami Marathon in 2016, plus eighteen half marathons.  Before moving to Haarlem, she used to spend her weekends hiking and climbing mountains in Colorado. In her free time, she is passionate about kettlebell training, crossfit, exploring new places, and capturing the beauty of landscapes as a rookie photographer.
