In August of 2014, I worked as a sports chiropractor at the Nitro Circus World Tour in Colorado. I was in the athlete warm-up room and on the sidelines during the event, working alongside the other medical staff.
It is an adrenaline-pumping experience like no other. This action-packed event brings together some of the world’s most talented athletes to showcase their jaw-dropping stunts and mind-blowing tricks.
The Nitro Circus World Tour features an incredible lineup of athletes who push the boundaries of what is possible. From fearless motocross riders to daring skateboarders and everything in between, these athletes are true masters of their craft. With names like Travis Pastrana, Ryan Williams, and Vicki Golden, you can expect nothing short of awe-inspiring performances.
But just how dangerous are the jumps? Well, let’s just say they’re not for the faint-hearted! The athletes at Nitro Circus take on massive ramps and perform gravity-defying tricks that require immense skill and precision. While safety measures are in place to minimize risks, there’s no denying that these jumps come with a certain level of danger. It’s this element of thrill and excitement that keeps audiences (and chiropractors and athletic trainers) on the edge of their seats throughout the entire show!
