In addition, several specialists come for a rotation. This helps the athletes and other providers to get fresh ideas and collaboration, which improves the patient outcomes with an injury. I was fortunate to spend 2 weeks there in February 2015. Some of the sports I’ve worked with included wrestling, judo, figure and speed skating, and gymnastics. I drove an athlete to their practice in the company car, which was pretty cool. The other highlight for me was that I got to train myself in the same gym the athletes use.

Olympic medalists in various disciplines have called Colorado Springs their training base as they prepare for international competitions.
