Getting here

Street parking here is paid parking, in the purple marked zones. There is a meter directly in front of the practice, on the corner of Verspronckweg and Santpoorterstraat. You can also pay through a parking app.

One thing worth knowing about the street: Santpoorterstraat is near several schools, so it can get busier around drop off and pick up, especially around 8.30 and 14.30. If your appointment falls near either of those, give yourself a few extra minutes.

How to reach us

Three ways in, and they suit different things. If all you want is an appointment, you do not need any of them: that is done in the online calendar.

Call+31 23 234 1919. Best for anything you would rather say out loud than type. If you booked online and the confirmation email never arrived, this is also the way to check your appointment time.

WhatsAppThe practice takes WhatsApp messages. Open one from the phone icon in the bottom right of the screen, which is the easy route for a short question or for asking about priority scheduling.

Emailinfo@themovementrecipe.com. Best for the longer question, and for when you want the answer in writing. Tell us what is going on before you book and we will tell you honestly whether this is the right place for it. The form below goes to the same inbox.

Send us a message

Your name, your email and your message are what we need, the phone number is optional. Tell us what is going on in as much detail as you like, it saves a round of questions. Your message goes to info@themovementrecipe.com.

Who we answer to

Letting someone work on your body takes a certain amount of trust, so it’s fair to ask who holds us to a standard. We take our ethics and our professional standards seriously, and we’re not the ones who mark our own work. Other people write those rules, publish them, and hold the practice to them. It’s all public, and this is where you’d start if you ever needed it.

Who holds us to a standard

Registered with the SNRC

The practice is on the national register of chiropractors. The SNRC writes the quality requirements behind it: expertise, professional competence, ethics, and how a practice is run. The SNRC register and its rules

What a chiropractor may and may not do

The SNRC writes that down too, in a performance description. If you want to know where the line sits before you book, it is public. Read the performance description

Member of the DCF

The Movement Recipe is a member of the Dutch Chiropractic Federation. Complaints about members are handled by the SNRC, which is the step further down this list. The Dutch Chiropractic Federation

A code of ethics we did not write

A Registered Chiropractor knows and works to the ICA guidelines and the ICA code of professional ethics. It covers how we deal with patients, and how we deal with each other. Read the SNRC code of professional ethics

Where you can turn

1A patient association of your own

Every patient of a Registered Chiropractor is welcome at the VPRC. It is there to represent your interests, not ours. The patient association

2If something isn’t right

Every healthcare provider in the Netherlands has to have a complaints procedure, under the Wkkgz. Ours runs through the SNRC, whose board acts as complaints officer, and the procedure and the complaint form are on their site. How a complaint is handled

3And if that does not settle it

The practice is affiliated with the SGRC, the disputes body that takes over once the SNRC procedure has run its course. The disputes body

We reply between appointments

We are closed right now. Leave a message and we will reply when the practice reopens.

The Movement Recipe

Hi, thanks for reaching out.

Ask us anything: booking, what a first visit involves, or whether chiropractic is the right fit for what you are dealing with.

We are often with patients, so replies come between appointments.
