My journey into chiropractic care began unexpectedly during my high school years. As a half marathon runner at the age of 17, I found myself struggling with a series of frustrating injuries, so I visited a chiropractor. What struck me most was the holistic approach: instead of merely treating the symptoms in my knee, my chiropractor delved deeper, searching for the root cause of the dysfunction. I resumed running without pain and prevented further injuries. It was then that I realized my calling—to become a chiropractor myself and help others find relief and understanding in the same way I had.
I hold a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a Master’s degree in Sports Science & Rehabilitation from Logan College of Chiropractic. In addition, I hold a Bachelor of Science degrees in Integrative Physiology from University of Colorado-Boulder and in Life Sciences from Logan College of Chiropractic University.
I’m honored to have received the 2017 Sports Chiropractor of the Year Award and the 2014 Rising Star Chiropractor of the Year Award from the Colorado Chiropractic Association. In addition, I was recognized as a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors (F.I.C.C). I served the profession with pride as the President of the American Chiropractic Association Sports Council from 2017 to 2018, before moving abroad.
Some of the highlights of my career include helping athletes perform at their best at the following events: 2 week-Sports Medicine Rotation at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs 2015, World Sport Games 2019 and 2023, US Olympic Time Trials for Track and Field 2016, The Breckenridge Dew Tour 2014, Ironman Boulder 2014, and IPF World Powerlifting Championships 2014. You can view photos from these in the blog.
Haarlem has been my home since 2019. Before that, I founded and owned a premier sports chiropractic office in Denver, CO for seven years. When my husband received a dream job opportunity, we decided to sell everything, including my office, and embark on an adventure.
After having three kids in three years, I learned that being a mom is the toughest sport out there. My focus shifted from sports to prenatal and postpartum care. I wanted to use my years of personal experience to help other mothers have more comfortable pregnancies and postpartum journeys, especially those with pelvic floor complaints, pregnancy discomfort, and diastasis recti. I began offering my signature workshop, the Pelvic Floor and Core 101, at a midwife practice in Haarlem.
When I’m not working at my Haarlem chiropractic office, you can find me around town with my three kids, distance running, at the CrossFit gym, traveling and exploring new places, and capturing the beauty of landscapes as a rookie photographer. In my pre-kid life (when I had more free time), I participated in two full marathons and eighteen half marathons. Although I love Haarlem, I do miss the weekends that I used to spend hiking and climbing mountains in Colorado.
I can’t wait to meet you and help you to achieve better health through movement!

I am originally from South Africa and have been living in the Netherlands for the past 4 years. My desire to expand my horizons led me to make a bold decision to move abroad and continue my chiropractic journey on a global scale. I am a native English speaker with competence in both Afrikaans and Dutch.
I have completed my studies at the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, with a Master’s (MTech) in Chiropractic, graduating with distinction. I am one of a handful of chiropractors in the Netherlands to hold an International Sports Chiropractic qualification with FICS. I’m honored to have been recognized with merit awards from ChiroSport South Africa in 2017, 2018, and 2019 for my outstanding work with athletes.
I blend techniques of diversified, active rehabilitation, and SOT (SacroOcipital Technique) into my treatments with patients. In addition to working with athletes, I have a special field of interest in chiropractic neurology and is currently studying with the Carrick Institute and working towards her board licensure. This specialty has a focus on more complex brain-based symptoms such as concussions, vestibular rehabilitation, vertigo, tinnitus, dizziness, migraines and movement disorders.
In my free time, I love to stay active – hiking, playing tennis or paddle, and going on long walks with my pup and fiance. I also have a creative side and love to unwind by painting and reading. I have completed a half Ironman distance triathlon and a 30K trail run, and love the thrill of testing my physical endurance and determination.
I can’t wait to help you with your health and movement goals!
